Questions

What is a Peppol / UBL invoice?

It is a structured electronic invoice in XML format. Since 1 January 2026 Belgian VAT-registered companies must exchange B2B invoices this way, and other EU countries are following. The XML is made for accounting software, which is why it is hard to read for humans. This viewer shows it as a normal invoice.

Is my invoice uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read by JavaScript inside your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server. You can even use the page offline once it is loaded.

Can I use this to send e-invoices?

No. This tool only reads invoices. Sending Peppol invoices requires a certified Peppol access point or accounting software.

Is the information legally checked?

The viewer displays what is in the file but does not validate it against the official rules. Always rely on your accountant or accounting software for legal and tax matters.
